Glassman Europe opened on the 13-14th of May 2009 in Lyon, France. Glassman brought together suppliers of equipment and materials used at every stage of the primary glass manufacturing process, and was a must-attend event for 2009.

Support of the Glass Industry
Glassman Europe was thrilled by the support of the glass industry to this biennial event. As well as representatives from every single glass plant in France, the exhibition welcomed visitors from across Europe, the Middle East, Australasia, North and South America.
Suppliers of equipment and materials used at every stage of the primary glass manufacturing process were exhibiting at Glassman Europe 2009. Find out more about our exhibitors here.
A sold-out 2009 exhibition
Exhibitors included suppliers of batch plants and equipment, melting furnaces and refractory materials, forming equipment, annealing lehrs, ware handling products, processing equipment, inspection systems and cold end handling and packing systems.
Free Institut du Verre Conference
In addition, visitors enjoyed two days of free specialist conference sessions run by Institut du Verre, France's leading glass association. Focusing on two themes - energy and environment and modelling concepts - the conference featured high profile speakers such as Guy Tackels, Environmental Affairs Director at Saint-Gobain Conceptions Verrieres and Michael Greenman of the GMIC.
